Busit is commited to ensuring that the data collection and data processing of our customers comply with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Busit operates as a data processor. This is reflected in our Terms, which are available and applies to all Busit customers with or without direct contracts with Busit such as trial subscriptions.
Busit is a data processor under GDPR because Busit collects and processes data on behalf of its customers, pursuant to their instructions. Our customers are data controllers who retain full rights over the collection, access, retention, and deletion of their data at any time. Busit’s use of data is controlled by the terms of its contract with its customers and any settings enabled by customers through the user interface of our product.
All direct Personally Identifiable Information shared with Busit by our customers are encrypted. Such information may be disclosed to and managed by Busit employees bound and formed to the GDPR privacy requirements or with sub-contractors offering equal protection, for the sole purpose of the product administration. Additionally, those information may be shared with legal authorities as required by law.
Busit does not retain processed customer data longer than the explicit duration of the contract, or for a period of 12 months following the subscription term in case the contract does not define an explicit termination date. Customer identification, contact and billing information are archived for legal purposes for a period of 10 years or the minimum period of time required by law, whichever the longest.
In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), our customers may update, remove or request more detail about any or all of their information retained by Busit at any time during the data retention period. In order to claim this right, customers shall contact Busit’s Data Protection Officer via the contact form.
Cookie policy
Busit collects first-party cookies, data related to the device/browser, IP address and on-site activities to measure and report statistics about user interactions on the website. Those information are collected using Google Analytics.
Some information might be gathered by Third Party service providers such as social media embedded on the Busit website. The use and collection of those data are regulated by the service providers’ privacy and cookie policy.
Busit does not collect nor send any Personally Identifiable Information to any Third Party without explicit consent.
